Locums Interventional Radiologist

About the role

Inpatient-focused role involving image-guided procedures such as CT-guided biopsies, angiograms, embolizations, drain and tube placements.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, managing a patient caseload of 1-15 daily based on case complexity, and providing light call coverage (approximately one in six weekends).

Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided procedures (CT-guided biopsies, angiograms, embolizations, drain and tube placements)
• Triage patient calls and serve as the first contact for triage
• Manage inpatient caseload (1-15 patients daily, depending on complexity)
• Provide light call coverage (approximately one in six weekends)
• Complete online time entry and assignment management

Requirements

• Completion of an IR fellowship
• Proficiency in image-guided interventions
• Strong procedural skills and inpatient experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
