Locums Interventional Cardiologist

This role involves providing inpatient hospital coverage with 16-hour in-house call shifts and a call ratio of 1:5. Responsibilities include managing phone consults (around 20 per shift), performing cath lab procedures, PTCA, stents, caths, and STEMI call coverage, and conducting inpatient rounds and consults with echo, stress tests, and EKGs. Preferred skills include Nuclear and TEE experience, though not required. The position offers ongoing coverage potential, with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Compensation ranges from $325 to $400 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, combining base pay with overtime, call, and holiday pay. Additional benefits include online portal for assignment details and time entry and 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant.
