Locums Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

This position involves providing hematology and oncology care in an outpatient setting, primarily for adult patients, with potential inpatient rounding on clinic days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general hematology oncology consultations
• Perform bone marrow biopsy and aspirate procedures (preferred but not required)
• Handle very light outpatient phone consult calls shared among multiple physicians

Schedule

Work four days a week, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

Candidates should have relevant experience in hematology/oncology, with procedural skills in bone marrow biopsies preferred.

Skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Pay

Hourly rates range from $375.00 to $500.00, inclusive of base pay and potential extra earnings such as overtime and holiday pay.
