Locums General Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking a physician to provide emergency general surgery coverage across multiple facilities. This call-only position focuses on time-sensitive cases and high patient volumes, covering for departing or reduced FTE surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Provide call-only coverage for emergency general surgery
• Manage 8–20 patients per shift
• Perform laparoscopic and standard surgical procedures

Requirements

• Experience in emergency surgery and laparoscopic techniques
• Ability to efficiently handle high patient volumes
• Online management of assignment details
• Preferred: Minor orthopedics experience
