Locums Family Practice Physician

About the role

Locum tenens primary care physician position in a VA outpatient clinic. You will manage approximately 12 patients daily as part of the VA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care
• Manage chronic diseases: hypertension, diabetes, CAD, PTSD, and depression
• Deliver preventive services: physicals, screenings, immunizations, and wellness visits
• Provide acute care for respiratory illnesses, wounds, dermatology, ENT, and GI conditions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent primary care experience
