About the role
We are seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for hospital-based locum tenens coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
- Manage obstetrical cases, including epidurals, spinals, and C-sections
- Conduct postoperative rounds
- Handle pediatric anesthesia and arterial line placement
- Deliver anesthesia care in a hospital setting, focusing on OB labor suite procedures
Schedule
- Night shifts: Monday to Friday, 7 pm to 7:30 am
- Weekend shifts: 12 or 24 hours
- Average patient load: 8 patients per shift
Requirements
- Proficiency in obstetrical anesthesia
- Experience with acute volume and blood pressure management
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Pediatric anesthesia experience
- Arterial line placement experience
