About the role

Night shift physician specializing in trauma, obstetrics, and anesthesia. This role involves managing complex cases, performing procedures such as vascular and arterial line insertions, and providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a teaching hospital environment with academic affiliation.

Responsibilities

• Cover general, pediatric, spinal, epidural, regional, OB, neuro/spine, and complex vascular and orthopedic surgery cases
• Perform central and arterial line placements
• Manage vent settings and critical care scenarios
• Work at least two weeks per month, including weekend and night call as needed
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and procedural proficiency
• Support surgical teams in a high-acuity setting

Requirements

• Strong background in trauma and obstetric anesthesia
• Proficiency in central and arterial line placement
• Experience with vent management
• Excellent clinical skills in a teaching hospital environment
