About the role

Night shift anesthesiologist position at an academic hospital, providing anesthesia coverage from 7 pm to 7 am. The role requires flexibility for weekend and night call, with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage anesthesia for trauma, OB, vascular, orthopedic, and other complex cases.
• Provide ventilator management and perform procedures such as line insertions and regional blocks.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care during overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Strong background in trauma and OB anesthesia.
• Proficiency in general anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, spinals, epidurals, neuro/spine, and vascular procedures.
• Experience with arterial and central line insertion.
