About the Role
Provide advanced anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting diverse cases including pediatrics, donor care, and various adult specialties. Collaborate with hospital staff within a team care model, utilizing EPIC EMR. Maintain high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia across multiple specialties including pediatrics, orthopedics, GYN/ONC, urology, complex spine, ophthalmology, plastics, and others.
- Manage patient cases, typically 1-8 per day, with flexibility for pediatric cases.
- Work closely with nursing staff and physicians, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and support team operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Comfortable with pediatric and donor care cases.
- Proficient in EPIC EMR.
- Open to licensing candidates.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Details
- Cover staffing needs in a hospital with 254 beds and Level III trauma designation.
- No call or weekend shifts required.
- Credentialing approximately 60 days.
