About the role

This role involves providing inpatient critical care in a hospital setting with day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and potential for overnight on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients
• Support overnight coverage on-site
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic instability, and multi-organ dysfunction

Requirements

• Minimum of 50 critical care encounters in the past year
• Proficiency in critical care procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion)
• Experience managing ventilators and complex medical cases
• Relevant critical care experience
• Ability to handle hemodynamic instability and multi-organ dysfunction
