Locums Cardiologist

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient coverage in a busy hospital setting with a focus on cardiology diagnostics. You will work solo with no mid-level support, requiring strong independence and proficiency in echocardiography and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage 6-12 consultations daily
• Perform 10-20 patient rounds daily
• Conduct 5-10 echocardiograms and nuclear reads
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) preferred

Schedule

• Non-call days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• One week per month: 7:00 AM Monday to 7:00 AM the following Monday
• 4-5 nights of call within a 7-day stretch

Requirements

• Experience in echocardiography and nuclear medicine
• Ability to work independently
