About the role
Seeking Locum Anesthesiologists to provide ongoing coverage near Mission District, CA.
Responsibilities
- Covering hospital ORs primarily for general cases, occasionally regional cases, and floating across six facilities
- Providing anesthesia services primarily for adult and adolescent patients
- Working 4-5 days/week, with shifts up to 10 hours
- Ensuring at least 2 weeks of coverage per month
Qualifications
- CA license
- Board certification or eligibility (fellowship-trained preferred)
- At least 2 years of recent tertiary care experience
- Trauma experience preferred
- DEA license for Schedule 2/2n
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Recent experience in high-acuity settings
Skills
- Strong regional skills preferred
- Proficiency in EMR (EPIC)
- Ability to work solo in the OR, with occasional oversight of CRNAs
