Locums Anesthesiologist

About the role

This role involves providing anesthesiology coverage in an inpatient hospital setting, handling approximately 9 cases daily. The anesthesiologist is responsible for preparing their own cases without a support model.

Responsibilities

• Administer epidurals, neuraxial, and interscalene blocks
• Provide anesthesia coverage for OB/GYN, ortho, general surgery, ENT, urology, and pediatrics
• Cover vacation periods and handle bariatrics and neuro spine cases
• Prepare cases independently and maintain patient safety

Requirements

• Experience as an anesthesiologist with proficiency in OB procedures and various surgical specialties
• Skills in administering epidurals, neuraxial, and interscalene blocks
• Ability to manage diverse cases independently
