About the role
This is a day-shift position at a community pediatric hospital for a licensed, board-certified anesthesiologist.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for a diverse case mix, including Level I trauma, neonatal to adult general surgery, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures.
- Manage ventilation and perform arterial line insertions across all age groups.
- Operate both independently and while supervising CRNAs, with approximately 50% hands-on involvement.
- Complete credentialing within 60-90 days; no call duties required.
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesiology.
- Prescriptive authority.
- Experience with ventilation management and arterial line placement.
- Ability to work in a care team environment and supervise CRNAs.
