Locum Veterinarian

About the role

VCA Aacacia Animal Hospital is seeking Relief Veterinarians to cover multiple shifts over the next several months. Located in Corona, CA, we are a well-established, urgent and general practice hospital.

Responsibilities

• Use superior medical judgment and empathy to build a loyal client base and heal pets.
• Work collaboratively with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners.
• Participate in clinical studies and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

• Current veterinary license in good standing.
• Experience in urgent and general practice preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Completion of an AVMA accredited internship or residency program.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $1300.00 to $1600.00 per shift.

Schedule

Shifts vary and can be either short-term or long-term depending on availability and hospital needs.
