About the role

Locum tenens Provider | 16th & Burnside Recovery Center Central City Concerns Residential trauma-informed recovery facility in the heart of Portland and we're looking for compassionate, mission-driven Medical Providers to be part of it.

Responsibilities

  • Perform admission evaluations, including buprenorphine induction
  • Manage chronic and acute conditions
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team
  • Be available for on-call medical support

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in addiction medicine and mental health care
  • Experience with underserved and homeless populations
  • Active Oregon licensure (or eligibility) and DEA certification
  • Commitment to health equity, harm reduction, and collaboration

Qualifications

  • A strong background in mental health and addiction medicine is preferred, as well as experience working with homeless and underserved populations.
  • Demonstrated skills in primary care medicine with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • Must have current BLS certification prior to start.
  • Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
  • Available to work during standard hours.

  • Ability to consider the impacts and outcomes for underserved communities during decision-making process
  • Ability to consider impacts of oppression, structural racism, and individual bias on client outcomes
  • Ability to interact with co-workers, patients and staff to instill confidence and facilitate communication
  • Experience in urgent care and/or primary care practice
  • Ability to display non-judgmental attitude
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to perform assigned tasks
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of de-escalation methods or willing to be trained in these methods

Compensation ranges are provided based on relevant experience, education, credentials/licensure, and internal equity. Pay

  • Naturopath: $142,000 - $184,000
  • Nurse Practitioner: $135,000 - $176,000
  • Physician: $231,000 - $301,000
  • Physician Associate: $135,000 - $176,000

Schedule

Contract Timing/Duration: Contract would begin the end of September and run for approximately 13 weeks.

Schedule: Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00 or 8:30am to 5:00pm
