Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist

About the Role

This role involves providing neonatal care in a Level II Nursery setting, handling late-preterm infants down to 32 weeks gestation.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures such as intubation, umbilical lines, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula.
• Manage acute ventilator needs and care for newborns with a newborn census of 2-5 and Level II Nursery census of 0-2.
• Handle ER consults as required.

Requirements

• NRP certification is mandatory.
• Experience with intubation, umbilical lines, and ventilator management.
• Ability to care for late-preterm infants and manage acute respiratory needs.

Schedule

The position includes 24-hour call shifts, with approximately 12 shifts per month.

Pay

Compensation is competitive, with paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
