About the role
The physician will provide pediatric inpatient care with responsibilities including rounding, call coverage, and performing procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and ventilation management. The role involves attending high-risk deliveries and C-sections, with preferred experience in PICU and nursery settings.
Responsibilities
- Managing a small patient load of 4-8 patients per shift during 12-hour, overnight shifts
- Working up to 15 days per month, over 2-3 weekends
Qualifications
- Current certification
- Preferred pediatric experience, particularly in PICU and nursery settings
Skills
- Clinical proficiency in pediatric inpatient procedures
- High-risk obstetric coverage
- Excellent communication skills
