Locum Tenens Pathologist Position

Role: Pathologist specializing in GI surgical pathology with responsibilities including sign-out (excluding pancreas and liver), frozen section analysis, and blood/body fluid smear evaluation. Key Duties: Provide general frozen section coverage across multiple hospital sites, support telepathology consultations with subspecialty-trained pathologists, and ensure accurate diagnosis and reporting. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in GI surgical pathology, proficiency in frozen section and smear techniques preferred, and ability to work in a multi-hospital system environment. Responsibilities: Deliver approximately 175 GI cases weekly, participate in call coverage, and maintain high-quality pathology services. Ongoing coverage needed, with a commitment of 2-3 weeks per month.
