Locum Tenens PA - General Surgery Job in California

About the role

This role involves providing ICU coverage in a Level II Trauma Center, primarily during the PM shift from 3 pm to 1 am. The position does not include surgical assistance and involves few to no pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20-25 ICU patients daily on trauma service
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, drain removal, and arterial line insertion
• Deliver critical care and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Demonstrated trauma/critical care experience
• ATLS and ACLS certifications (required)
