Locum Tenens PA - Emergency Medicine Opportunity in NY

About the role

Locum assignments vary in duration—from as short as a day to several years—and can be local or require travel. This opportunity is in an emergency department setting with the following details:

• Shifts available: 9 am – 9 pm and 2 pm – 2 am
• Patient load: 1.5 – 2 patients per provider hour
• Daily patient volume: 70 – 90 patients
• All ages seen: infant to geriatrics
• Emergency medicine experience required as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Additional coverage needs expected

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $75.00 to $121.00. Rates are estimates and depend on factors such as critical need, experience, qualifications, and additional earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay.
