Locum Tenens PA - Emergency Medicine

About the Role

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) for a Level 3 trauma center. This position involves providing emergency care during 12-hour night shifts (6 pm - 6 am or 2 pm - 2 am).

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 20 patients daily, with 2-3 patients per hour
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage (I&D), laceration repair, and joint repairs
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality emergency care

Requirements

• Board certification in emergency medicine
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Hospital privileges required
