Requirements
- VA licensure
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Skills in obstetrics procedures
Work Environment
Support staff includes OB hospitalists, surgical assistants, and nurses. The call ratio is 1:4, with a low average of less than one callback per shift. High-risk patients are managed by MFM specialists, while the Laborist handles deliveries and rounding for unreferred patients.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates are flexible, prepared to cover both hospital and clinic duties, and capable of managing a moderate patient volume in a 9-bed L&D and 20 postpartum unit.
