Locum Tenens Nephrologist

About the role

We are seeking a physician to provide inpatient nephrology coverage, including managing dialysis procedures such as hemodialysis, CRRT, and peritoneal dialysis. Post-renal transplant management experience is preferred.

The role involves 24-hour beeper call coverage with a response time of 20 minutes, handling 10-20 patients per shift, and providing call-back coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient nephrology care, including dialysis procedures (hemodialysis, CRRT, peritoneal dialysis)
• Provide post-renal transplant management (preferred)
• Respond to 24-hour beeper call coverage within 20 minutes
• Oversee care for 10-20 patients per shift
• Provide prompt call-back coverage
