About the role

This locum tenens position provides general frozen section coverage across a multi‑hospital system, with telepathology support from subspecialty‑trained pathologists. The role involves GI surgical pathology sign‑out (pancreas and liver excluded) and handling approximately 175 GI cases per week.

Responsibilities

• Approx. 175 GI cases per week
• General frozen section coverage across multiple hospital sites
• Telepathology consulting with subspecialty‑trained pathologists
• GI surgical pathology sign‑out (pancreas and liver excluded)
• Ongoing coverage needed through next summer
• Assignment details and time entry via online portal

Requirements / Skills

• Frozen section and blood/body fluid smear skills preferred
• Ability to perform GI surgical pathology sign‑out (pancreas and liver excluded)
