Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Is Wanted in Wisconsin

About the role

Enjoy the locum tenens lifestyle with Weatherby Healthcare support. This assignment involves inpatient-driven interventional radiology services, performing 4‑6 procedures per MD per day, with an APP always on call alongside the physician.

Responsibilities

• Perform 4‑6 procedures per MD per day in an inpatient‑driven, variable volume setting.
• Work with an APP who is always on call alongside the MD.
• Conduct targeted lung biopsies as required.
• Perform high‑volume procedures including vertebroplasty, dialysis access, angiograms, IVC filter placements.
• Place G‑tubes and abscess drains.
• Interpret diagnostic radiology (DR) readings between procedures.
• Handle weekday call from 6 pm and weekend call from Friday 6 pm through Monday 7 am.
• Work on‑site Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑6 pm, every other week.

Requirements

• Ability to perform targeted lung biopsies.
• Experience with vertebroplasty, dialysis access, angiographic procedures, IVC filter placement, G‑tube and abscess drain insertion.
• Comfortable with inpatient‑driven interventional radiology workload and on‑call responsibilities.

Schedule

• Monday‑Friday, 7 am – 6 pm, on‑site every other week.
• Weekday call from 6 pm.
