About the role
Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner specializing in electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conducting EP procedures including ablations, cardioversions, TEEs, and device placements, with an average of 15‑18 cases weekly.
- Performing ablations and other EP procedures if skilled, with a small chance of general cardiology consults.
- Managing a full‑time schedule involving clinic and lab days, with flexible procedure and case management.
- Providing comprehensive EP care, performing specialized procedures, and supporting patient management at a main campus clinic with nearby lab facilities.
- Handling procedure documentation, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintaining high‑quality patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with EP procedures.
- Ability to handle 4‑5 procedures daily.
- Competence in device management.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage clinic and lab responsibilities.
- Flexibility to perform general cardiology consults when needed.
