Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position providing anesthesia coverage in a facility with 16 operating rooms, primarily for cardiac cases (80%), with a focus on structural and pump procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5-8 patients per shift during Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm, plus beeper call
• Perform arterial lines, central lines, regional blocks, and TEE procedures (basic or advanced)
• Serve an adult patient population; pediatric and neonatal cases are not included
• Provide ongoing coverage with availability for 1-2 weeks per month

Requirements

• Recent volume-verified TEE certification
• Experience in arterial lines, central lines, and regional anesthesia
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
