Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist

This role provides surgical care in a hospital‑based setting, handling approximately 800 operating‑room cases each month across general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. The position requires a minimum availability of 2–3 weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surgical care for a high‑volume caseload spanning general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, and neurosurgery.
• Manage approximately 800 OR cases monthly, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Support expanding service lines such as invasive radiology and gastro‑endoscopy.
• Coordinate with credentialing, privileging, malpractice coverage, and travel‑arrangement teams.
• Utilize an online portal for assignment details and time entry.

Qualifications

• Current, appropriate surgical credentials.
• Experience in trauma, orthopedics, or neurosurgery procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a busy caseload.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
