Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist

About the role

This position involves providing locum tenens anesthesia services with a focus on general, MAC, and bread & butter procedures, including regional, ortho, GI, ophthalmology, urology, and ENT cases. The role features a Monday to Friday schedule, no call or weekend duties, and typically involves managing 15-20 cases daily across four rooms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of anesthesia procedures in diverse clinical settings
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Streamline credentialing and privileging processes
• Utilize online portals for assignment details and time entry

Qualifications

• Experience in general anesthesia, regional, ortho, GI, ophthalmology, urology, and ENT cases
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
