Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist

Role Overview

This position involves providing anesthesia and perioperative care for adult patients across various cases, including general, obstetrical, spine, vascular, orthopedic, and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform spinal, epidural, regional, and obstetrical anesthesia
• Insert central and arterial lines
• Manage ventilation
• Maintain patient safety and ensure effective anesthesia delivery during complex surgeries
• Provide anesthesia coverage on a 2-week rotation
• Support ongoing cases and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Handle complex procedures and ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with adult patients (pediatric experience preferred)
• Proficiency in ventilation management, line insertions, and anesthesia techniques required
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential
