Job Summary
An Indiana facility is seeking a locums Radiation Oncologist. The position offers hospital and clinic coverage, Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, and a call schedule that is yet to be determined. The average daily clinic patient count is 6 with 4 new consults per week, and 100% of patients are adults, with 99% being clinic cases and 1% hospital cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to adult patients using linear accelerator, IMRT/IGRT, SBRT/SRS, and 3D CRT techniques.
- Utilize PET CT/MRI image fusion and conventional treatment planning.
- Maintain BLS certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics or related field.
- Completion of a recognized medical physics program.
- Board certification in Medical Physics or equivalent.
- Experience with linear accelerator, IMRT/IGRT, SBRT/SRS, and 3D CRT techniques.
- Experience with PET CT/MRI image fusion and conventional treatment planning.
- BLS certification.
