Responsibilities

• Call-only coverage with a 30-minute call response time required
• See 25–30 patients per shift in ICU
• Handle 6–10 phone consults per 24-hour call period
• Perform both medical and surgical rounding
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Insert chest tubes
• No trauma or burn cases required
