About the role
A pediatrician is needed for locum tenens work in an inpatient setting in Durant, OK.
Responsibilities
- Manage non-invasive ventilation (neo-puff)
- Perform newborn intubation (ETT/NT)
- UVC and UAC placement
- Chest tube insertion and needle pneumothorax decompression
- Circumcision and suturing of minor lacerations
Requirements
Must have current medical license and DEA registration. Must be able to respond to calls within 30 minutes and maintain a 1:3 call ratio.
Qualifications
Experience with neonatal care and inpatient pediatrics is preferred.
Skills
Knowledge of neonatal care, inpatient pediatrics, and ability to perform procedures such as non-invasive ventilation management, newborn intubation, UVC/UAC placement, chest tube insertion, and circumcision/suturing.
