Locum | Physician Pediatric Anesthesiology

About the role

Pediatric anesthesia for dental, ENT, and orthopedic procedures at a children's hospital pediatric facility.

Responsibilities

• Children over 2 years old, including those with medical conditions
• 85% of cases are ASA 1 healthy patients
• 7 am – 5 pm or 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday schedule
• Weeknight and weekend in-house call opportunity
• Availability requirement is 3 – 4 weeks, with large blocks of availability preferred

Requirements

85% of cases are ASA 1 healthy patients, pediatric patients over 2, and sick pediatric patients under 2.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology
• Experience with pediatric anesthesia
• Children's hospital pediatric facility experience preferred
• Large blocks of availability preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
