Work Hours

• 7:30 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday
• Rare evening calls handled by phone

Workload

• General pathology mix
• Heavy GI biopsy and non-gyn cytology
• Peripheral smear reviews
• Blood bank questions included in workload
• FNA smears in radiology (touch preps for biopsy adequacy)
• Pathologists gross in the afternoon (no PA on staff)
• No autopsies (most bone marrows sent out)
