Job Summary

Total Joint Replacement Surgery

Call only coverage with 24-hour shifts from 7am to 7am
Less than 20 patients per shift with approximately 15 patients seen per 24 hours
In-house call coverage required
Arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures required
Hip and knee procedures required
Call ratio of 1:4 with less than 25% callback rate
Less than 10 admissions per 24-hour period
Phone consults required

Responsibilities

• Perform arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures
• Manage up to 20 patients per shift
• Handle phone consults
• Work within an in-house call coverage schedule

Qualifications

• Experience with hip and knee procedures
• Ability to manage a call ratio of 1:4 with a low callback rate
• Experience managing less than 10 admissions per 24-hour period
