About the Role

Clinic hours are 8 am - 5 pm daily with night call from 5 pm - 8 am and 24-hour call on weekends. This is a very busy setting with high patient volume in a rural area, providing backfill coverage in a clinic and hospital-based ophthalmology environment with potential for ongoing coverage.

Procedures include cataract, phaco, YAG, glaucoma, corneal, PRK, and plastic/orbital surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform ophthalmology procedures such as cataract, phaco, YAG, glaucoma, corneal, PRK, and plastic/orbital surgeries.
• Provide clinic and hospital-based coverage, including night and weekend call.
• Manage high patient volume in a rural setting.
