Locum | Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

Hospital-based OB/GYN position covering labor & delivery, inpatient, emergency room, and clinic. You will support a certified nurse-midwife team as second call (must be within 20 minutes of the facility) and interact with on-site family medicine residents.

• 24-hour call coverage (7 am to 7 am shifts)
• 14–18 patient visits per clinic day
• Full OB privileges required, including cesarean and operative vaginal delivery
• High-risk pregnancy consult and management required
• Leave coverage assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for labor & delivery, inpatient, and emergency services
• Conduct 14–18 patient visits per clinic day
• Perform cesarean and operative vaginal deliveries
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide consultative services
• Support the CNM team as second call, ensuring availability within 20 minutes
• Collaborate with family medicine residents on site

Requirements

• Full OB privileges, including cesarean and operative vaginal delivery
• Ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
• Must be within 20 minutes of the facility while on second call
