Locum | Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology
About the role
This position is in a high and low risk pregnancy management setting with an average of 800 deliveries per year. It includes inpatient practice, office gynecology procedures, and requires skills in OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, C-sections, and complicated deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Pager call 7am to 7am
- Treat 5 patients per shift
- Manage high and low risk pregnancies
- Perform OB ultrasounds and amniocentesis
- Handle C-sections and complicated deliveries
- Conduct office gynecology procedures
Requirements
Patient care experience is required. High and low risk pregnancy management skills, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, C-sections, and complicated delivery skills are essential. Office gynecology procedures are also necessary.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree required. Board certification in Family Practice or Obstetrics is preferred. Experience in an inpatient practice setting is beneficial.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to manage high and low risk pregnancies, proficiency in OB ultrasounds and amniocentesis, and experience with C-sections and complicated deliveries are required.
