Locum | Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

A 24-hour call coverage in 10-day blocks each month is required, with shifts typically from 7 am to 7 am. Expect to see 2 to 3 patients daily with 1 to 2 calls per night. The position involves hospital-based work and requires privileges. It also includes a collaborating physician role supporting two certified nurse midwives and performing procedures such as C-sections, vacuum deliveries, and sutures.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Privileges required for hospital-based work
• Experience in family practice or obstetrics

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in family practice or obstetrics
• Current medical license in good standing

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage high patient volumes
• Procedural skills including C-sections, vacuum deliveries, and sutures
