About the role
A locums Neurologist is needed for day and PM shifts at two sites in Norfolk, VA. The position involves inpatient daily patient load of 15 patients, teleneurology coverage at two sites, and app support from an APP from Monday through Friday. Coverage includes 8 facilities on a night shift basis.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient daily patient load of 15 patients
- Teleneurology coverage at 2 sites
- App support from an APP from Monday through Friday
- Coverage of 8 facilities on a night shift basis
Requirements
- Current medical license in Virginia
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Experience in teleneurology preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of EMR system EPIC

Schedule
Day shift 7am – 5pm, PM shift 5pm – 7am, with call 2 nights per week covering 8 facilities via phone.
