Locum | Physician Medical Oncology

About the role

A solo medical oncologist is needed to provide clinic-based oncology services at an outpatient facility in Fremont, Ohio. The position offers flexible scheduling with a preference for Thursday or Friday coverage, clinic hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and no pager or weekend call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of 10 - 14 patients per day
• Splitting 50% of caseload between hematology and oncology
• Offering 30 minute follow-up and 60 minute new patient appointments
• Assuming leave coverage responsibilities
• Ensuring hospital privileges are maintained

Requirements

• Hospital privileges required
• Board-certified or board-eligible in medical oncology
• At least 3 years of oncology experience preferred
