Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care for various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer different anesthesia types (general, regional, local) tailored to each patient and procedure.
- Monitor vital signs continuously, adjusting anesthesia levels to ensure patient safety.
- Respond effectively to emergencies during surgery and document patient care accurately.
- Stay updated on anesthesiology advancements through ongoing education.
Qualifications & Skills
- MD or DO degree with residency in anesthesiology accredited by ACGME or AOA.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Missouri.
- Board certification in anesthesiology (ABA or AOA).
- Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, manual dexterity, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
