Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Anesthesiology

Responsibilities

• Providing general anesthesia, spinal, epidural, and regional procedures for adult and pediatric patients (excluding neonates).
• Supervising 4-5 CRNAs daily.
• Managing cases across 5 operating rooms, averaging 15 patients per shift.
• Performing central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placements.
• Responding promptly within 20 minutes when called.

Qualifications and Skills

• MD in medicine with anesthesiology specialization.
• Experience with adult and pediatric anesthesia, excluding neonatal care.
• Proficiency in central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and handle diverse anesthesia procedures.

Key Duties

• Deliver anesthesia services in a busy clinical setting.
• Participate in on-call coverage (3pm - 7am).
• Maintain safety and quality standards during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and staff.
