Locum | Physician Internal Medicine

About the role

Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
13 – 18 patients per day, adult to geriatric population
70% of patients are over 55 years old — all are Veterans
IM, FM, or MedPed welcomed
Hospital privileges required
12-month commitment needed

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to a diverse patient population
• Treat patients ranging from adults to geriatrics
• Manage a caseload of 13-18 patients daily
• Work in a Veterans' healthcare setting
• Specialize in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medical-Pediatrics
• Hold hospital privileges

Requirements

• Current medical license
• Hospital privileges required
• 12-month commitment needed

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medical-Pediatrics
• Experience working with a geriatric population
• Experience working with Veterans

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with patients and colleagues
• Effective problem-solving skills
