Locum | Physician Infectious Disease

Responsibilities

• Search for jobs that fit your interests
• Handle credentialing
• Manage housing and travel arrangements
• Coordinate 9-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Treat up to 20 - 30 patients per shift in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct an average of 1 - 2 phone consultations and 1 admission per 24 hours during call
• Manage vascular access devices and central venous catheters
• Evaluate microscopic specimens and perform aspiration of abscesses

Requirements

• Negotiate better pay and receive deposits weekly
• Arrange complimentary housing and travel
• Provide comprehensive malpractice coverage

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in infectious disease
• Experience with vascular access devices and central venous catheters
• Ability to evaluate microscopic specimens and perform aspiration of abscesses
