About the role

Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others span years. Some are far from home, others are local. This opportunity offers vacancy coverage while recruiting for a permanent provider, with the option to obtain a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour shifts with 24/7 in-house coverage required
• Handle a census that can exceed 30 patients per day
• Provide acute care surgery and trauma services in a hospital setting
• Manage ED consults, urgent OR demands, and all trauma calls

Requirements

• ATLS certification required
• Experience with laparoscopic, chest, breast, OB/GYN, and liver surgery preferred
