Locum | Physician Gastroenterology

About the role

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with no call requirements. Average 6 - 10 cases per day depending on case duration in an outpatient clinic and GI procedure lab setting. Clinic consults are managed by APPs with support staff available. 60 - 80% of time is spent in the procedure lab handling bread and butter EGD and colonoscopy cases. Must be available for at least one full week per month on an ongoing basis. 100% adult and geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform an average of 6 - 10 cases per day, primarily EGD and colonoscopy procedures
• Work in outpatient clinic and GI procedure lab settings
• Collaborate with APPs managing clinic consults
