Locum | Physician Family Practice

About the role

The Dalles, OR clinic offers Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm clinic hours with 24-hour call coverage. Weekends include 24-hour call only, which includes pediatrics and nursery rounds. The physician will see an average of 16+ patients per day and deliver 12 – 14 babies per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients in a family practice setting
• Treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform routine physical exams and screenings
• Manage preventative care and health education
• Prescribe medications and manage patient treatment plans
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage, including weekends
• Deliver 12 – 14 babies per month
• Conduct surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary

Requirements

• NRP certification required
• Surgical procedures experience required
• OB/delivery experience required

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon
• Board certification in Family Medicine
